Ms Mosebi’s participation in the training forms part of Lesotho’s continued efforts to strengthen national capacity in the prevention, investigation, and prosecution of
trafficking in persons cases, while also improving protection mechanisms and support services for victims of TIP. The knowledge and skills gained through the training
are expected to contribute to improved national responses and alignment of Lesotho’s practices with international and regional legal frameworks aimed
at combating trafficking in persons.

The training is sponsored by the United States of America, Embassy in Lesotho. Among other participants are law enforcement officers including Inspector Mohau Mokobocho and Woman Police Constable ‘Maleseli Mamooe from the Lesotho Mounted Police Service, National Security Services, and other relevant stakeholders from various countries within the region.
