PASSPORT SERVICES:

The department of passport services constitutes an integral part of the Ministry of Home Affairs. It has ten (10) passport offices that are based in the ten (10) administrative districts and two (2) satellite offices found at Mt. Moorosi in Quthing and Semonkong in Maseru districts respectively. The mandate of the department is to facilitate movement of the people through issuance of travel documents (passports).

PASSPORT APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

16 yrs and Above (Adults):

First Applicants;

Physically go to the enrolment centres or passport offices, with
Identity Cards
Appropriate passport fee

Replacements

Old passport
Identity Card
Appropriate passport fee

Below 16 years (Minor):

Be accompanied by parent/guardian.
Child’s Birth certificate
Parent/Guardian’s consent letter
Parent/guardian’s Identity documents
Appropriate passport fee

FEES:

Regular passport – 32 pages = M 130.00

Regular passport – 64 pages = M 300.00
